I don’t remember a Cat Cafe in Nottingham…

Cat Cafes have sprung up everywhere around the world since the very first cat lady haven opened its doors in Taiwan in 1998. A few years later, and neighbouring Japan owned the cat cafe scene and, for the past couple of years, we’re seeing them ev-er-y-where. Including back in my (kind of) hometown, Nottingham! (I grew up in a horrible little town a 20-minute train ride away from the city). I’m quite happy that even though I live in another country as an adult, I manage to get back to England a good four or five times a year. On one of my most recent jaunts back, my sister and I spent houuurrrsss in the Kitty Cafe. It definitely wasn’t there when I left, but IT WAS AMAZING. And the best thing is that the cats are so well looked after. It is the life of an absolute queen. Cuddles and playtime and very extravagant play dens… Yeah. I loved it and I am not ashamed to say it.
