Sunrise at the Red Centre – Uluru

This picture was taken VERY early on the third day of a tour of the Red Centre back in 2010. It was the first real backpacking trip my uni buddy and I had ever taken, and despite underestimating our money situation, it was almost overwhelmingly fantastic. Of the whole of Australia, Uluru was one of the absolute highlights. Although pretty touristy and not even nearly enough aboriginal culture, it was so different to the rest of the country.
