Volcanoes in Costa Rica

I took this picture during a tour I took of Costa Rica. It was my first entirely independent travel trip following an internship in Honduras, and because I was scaaaared, I booked this two week long tour. I hated it. It was full of organised fun and a lot of people with more money than me. On this particular day, I sacked off all of the obligatory activities and went on a walk. Another girl and I spotted this volcano… and drastically underestimating how far away it was, decided to walk there. This is about as close as we got.
